I am a pediatrician, mom, and avid traveler. This blog is about sharing some of my personal experiences traveling with a toddler and helping other families travel safely with their children. After taking a three month tour visiting six different countries with my husband and three year old daughter, I’ve developed a passion for travel and a strong interest in pediatric travel health. In this blog, I will share information that I believe will keep children safe and healthy while abroad.
I practice primary care pediatrics in Bellevue, WA with Allegro Pediatrics, formerly Pediatric Associates. I also provide online pre-travel consultations through the Allegro Pediatric eTravel clinic. I am a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.
I love helping families prepare for their adventures abroad. You can view my TV interview with Margaret Larson at New Day Northwest in May 2019, where I talk about the basics of how to prepare for a big trip: Family travel and health advice to help prepare for your summer vacation.
